I just realized that I've been lacking nature/outdoor/flower shots as of late. To make up for that deficit, I give you...
Bougainvilleas!
They're all over our garden and bloom all year long, but these paper flowers are most beautiful and exceptionally vibrant during the summer. :)
Sharing with Weekend Flowers, Pink Fridays, Pink Saturday, Color Connection, i Heart Macro and Oh Snap!
I miss those blooms! My mother have these too in our garden at home in Bicol. Thanks for linking up to Color Connection.

a really beautiful site especially when they're growing in profusion. a very under rated flower but very beautiful just the same.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of Bougainvillea. Our backyard was covered with it as a kid and I have fond memories associated with trips abroad. Amazing how a plant can do that, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMagnificent!

That's my favorite color of "pink"!! Awesome macro shots!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize they had tiny white flowers in them too. The texture of the pink petals is really different. They remind me a bit of azaleas.
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazing flower! I've never seen one before. How cool that it has little white flowers on it. Great shot!
