All I do is follow the most basic face care regimen - Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize. I added a fourth step to this, though, which I call Nourish. And all these I do with Human Nature - their face care line being the gentlest and most effective among all the other face care brands that I've tried.
Step 1. Cleanse.
Balancing Facial Wash. |
If your skin type falls within the normal, oily, or combination type, then the Balancing Facial Wash is for you. (I belong to the latter, fyi.) It contains sugar beet and aloe vera which replenishes lost moisture, and bamboo scrubs and loofah which cleanses the skin while keeping excess oil at bay.
You'd be amazed to know that this product also contains manila elemi, an ingredient highly-coveted by the world's beauty industry. Manila elemi comes from the sap of the pili tree, and can be found only in the Philippines. This same ingredient can also be found in luxury face care brands such as Chanel and Dior, meaning, this humble little bottle is at par with these world-renowned brands when it comes to ingredients and composition!
Balancing Face Toner. |
Step 3. Moisturize.
Moisturizing Night Cream + Day Fluid. |
Human Nature's Moisturizing Day Fluid contains not just one, two, or three vitamins. It actually stands tall and proud as it is packed with fifteen - yes, FIFTEEN - vitamins and minerals to hydrate your skin and protect it from external damages. These include:
an extra dose of Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Selenium, Lecithin, Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, and Zinc.
The Moisturizing Night Cream, meanwhile, boasts of plant collagen - the magic ingredient that renews and repairs the skin while you sleep. It also contains a variety of other essential vitamins that aid in cell regeneration. This product claims that 'you'll 'wake up with a smoother, more supple skin, and a refreshed healthy glow', and believe me, there's every bit of truth in that promise. I stand by that claim
Step 4. Nourish.
The most popular, best selling Human Nature product - the Sunflower Beauty Oil. I call this my wonder worker, as I do all sort of things with it. I use it as an undereye lightener/moisturizer, to lighten my stretch marks, to lighten that nasty kelloidal scar on my left leg, to soften my knees and elbows, as a makeup remover, and now I'm even using it to clean my makeup brushes! Yes! In lieu of olive oil, I use the Sunflower Beauty Oil instead. How's that for innovation? :)
Now, I am pleased to announce that I'll be partnering with Human Heart Nature Laguna again for another giveaway. Yes, green mommies, advocates of organic products, and established fans of Human Nature, here's another treat for you!
I'll be giving away a complete set of Human Nature face care products for the Green Your Mom giveaway!

Interesting! I've used a lot of Human Nature products but I've never tried their skin care line. Will definitely join your giveaway. :D
A Human Nature fan here too! I am liking their sunflower oil as well -- using it as my body moisturizer instead of lotion. :)
