Convenience is the most important consideration when it comes to catering services. Hiring one not only makes any event well-planned, it also puts our minds at ease knowing that there are caterers who will take care of the food and service during the day of the event itself.
My wedding, for one, was very well-organized, thanks to the catering service that we hired. Even my aunt, who loves to do everything by herself when it comes to parties and celebrations, was converted after seeing how convenient it is to have caterers during an event. As such, she also sought the help of a catering service during my cousin's eighteenth birthday party. And she was very glad that she did.

As if that's not enough, on the day of the party itself, I become one haggard mess! I have to mind the kitchen and the dishes that come out, plus I have to supervise the buffet table while entertaining guests at the same time. Once the guests are done eating, I then have to supervise the table after-care and the washing of dishes. And to think I should be dolled-up and looking fab because I'm the party host!
Thank goodness for catering services, and the convenience that they provide! They take away the burden of food planning as they already have well-designed menu options to choose from. Money won't even be a problem as they can tailor a menu to fit any budget. During the event, they take care of the nitty-gritty stuff such as food service and after-care. As such, all you have to do is mingle with your guests and enjoy the company.
Think of it as 'sit back, relax, and watch your party unfold'. I don't think I'll throw a party ever again without the aid of a catering service!

Catering does relive much of the stress on events and sometimes it's also more cost effective.
ReplyDeleteI agree, catering services make life a lot easier especially for people like me who can't cook. XD
ReplyDeleteHiring caterers are indeed much more convenient than doing all of it yourself. You can also focus on the occasion on hand rather than fuss all over the food which needs to be prepared and restocked.
ReplyDeleteGood advice. I've been to weddings and wedding rehearsals where extended family members did this and that from the cake to the flowers. Something ALWAYS goes wrong, someone is late or there wasn't enough of this or that. I would rather have a caterer for peace of mind. I am sure they have make mistakes from time to time - better to be mad with them than family.
ReplyDeleteI too think catering services could be a big help with special events.
ReplyDeleteCatering really saves the hassle of preparing the food. Great to have the food outsourced and handled.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more. I tried hosting a small party once because I thought I could do everything but boy was I wrong.
ReplyDeleteI am planning my sons birthday party right now and the first call I made was to a caterer.
ReplyDeleteThey are always very helpful--but we've got such a great bunch of cooks/bakers in our family-most parties are pot luck.
ReplyDeleteI agree you need to hire something to help you, sometimes I try to everything myself and when its time for the festivity to began I am dead tired, and then dont enjoy it myself!
ReplyDeleteThe key is to select a GOOD catering service. It can be worse with a bad caterer than with do it yourself. A great caterer who considers your goals and works to implement them is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am so all for this, even though I've never used one. I would love to be able to relax with my guests:)
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of things to consider when hiring catering company. It is very helpful to read online reviews.
ReplyDeleteIt's indeed more convenient to hire a catering service, especially for big celebrations. That way, all you have to think about is how to be a fabulous and gorgeous host.
