About three weeks ago, I received a text message from the local post office regarding the arrival of yet another parcel. I was anticipating a package from Korea Cosmetics that time, so imagine my delight when the nice little lady at the post office handed me this box with the words 'Korea Post' written on it.
Inside the box was an array of cosmetics and beauty products for me to try, including the StemCello Revitalizing EMortal Vitamin C Serum. Designed for mature and uneven skin, this lightweight serum targets age spots and areas of hyperpigmentation. This unique skincare product uses stem cell activators plus common skin whitening agents such as Vitamin C, licorice, grapeseed oil, and mulberry extract to prevent fine lines and even the skin tone.
A product of SkinCure, Inc., the StemCello Vitamin C Serum's gold packaging reeks of elegance and sophistication. The box has all the pertinent information you need - from product description, ingredients, and directions for use. And you can actually read it because they're written in English. For those who can read Hangul, you can refer to the side panels.
The product itself comes in a 30 mL pump bottle, with an indicator at the side. Both features I pretty much like - the indicator, because it conveniently allows me to see how much serum I have left, while the pump, for sanitary reasons.
To use, apply 2-3 pumps of serum to the face, including the eye area. Apply more on areas that need more hydration. Careful with the pump, though, as it tends to squeeze out more than what you actually need. Use with a gentle hand to get just the right amount.
The serum has a light, fluid-like consistency, which is easily absorbed by the skin. It also has a distinct floral scent, which I find a bit overwhelming at first. I got used to it eventually, after weeks of continued use.
I've been using this for almost three weeks now, and I'm more than happy with it. I love how it leaves my skin bright and fresh-looking despite inadequate sleep. I also love its moisturizing effect, and how it didn't give me break-outs or allergies. The StemCello Vitamin C Serum also bears the 'No Animal Testing' logo, which makes this product even more commendable.
What I love:
- Elegant packaging.
- Hygienic pump bottle.
- Content indicator.
- Serum is lightweight and non-greasy.
- Moisturizes and brightens the skin.
- Evens out skintone.
- No rashes or allergies on my sensitive skin.
- Not tested on animals.
What you might not like:
- The scent, which is suitable for a more mature audience. Younger ladies might find the scent a bit too strong at first whiff.
- The price. This 30 mL bottle sells for $150. That's more or less Php 6200 or 160,000 KRW.
- Not available locally.
The StemCello Revitalizing EMortal Vitamin C Serum, as well as other products from the StemCello line can be purchased online at Korea Cosmetics.

I'd love to give this a try. My skin loves Vit. C serums and I welcome anti ageing stuff with open arms. Too bad it's not available in either the Philippines or the Middle East. :(
I have yet to try any serum on my face. That product seems ok, since you say it didn't cause you any breakouts or allergies.
Oh wow! So nice, but it's That expensive! :))
it was a little bit expensive but of course korean products give the best result, how i wish i can try it too.
I can imagine the "mature" scent you're describing. Waaah I hate that kind of fragrance...
If you don't need to use too much and the bottle will last the price is not tooooooooo bad, but I'm a little leery about that "mature" smell your referring too ;}
Thanks for the review of this product! I have never used a serum on my face before, not sure that I would like the mature scent that you are talking about!
I agree, the packaging it great.
I used to love Korean products when I lived there. I was a little disconcerted at the laundry list of questionable ingredients because they have so many natural products but glad this worked for you! It's so nice to see they are still innovating products worthy of coveting.
The mature smell will turn me off. My nose is too sensitive and at $150 dollars a bottle - yikes! I don't think I'll try it.
A little out of my budget :)
