Advantages of Having a Tankless Water Heater.

So you wake up early for work on a chilly Monday morning, skip breakfast to save time, hit the shower immediately, only to realize that there's no hot water coming from the heater. Talk about a rude (and cold) awakening!

Now mishaps like this can be prevented by simply having a tankless water heater installed by https://lvplumbing.co.uk in your home. These days, most households choose to have tankless water heater services in lieu of the traditional ones. And why not? Compared to the traditional heater, tankless water heaters have been proven to be more cost-effective and energy efficient.

Just think - a traditional water heater with a 40-gallon capacity is being heated all day long, which translate into huge energy consumption and bigger expenditures. When the contents are used up on showers and household appliances, you have to patiently wait for the next round to be heated. In a tankless hot water heater, however, water is heated as you need it, when you need it.

Tankless hot water heaters also give you the option to adjust the water heat settings. This comes very handy for households with young children and elderly family members where plumbing emergencies, and burns and scalding accidents can be a constant worry.

In addition, tankless units are smaller and more compact compared to traditional water heaters. This feature makes them easier to install (you can install them practically anywhere), and allows you to use multiple tankless units where you can divide your domestic hot water supply into two zones. For instance, one can be fed from the basement or first floor, where it’s a short distance to the kitchen. A second unit can be fed from the attic or a second-floor closet, where it’s just steps away from the bathrooms. As such, you can enjoy hot water at home in the most convenient and cost-effective manner.

  1. I just hate our shower and heater at home. The water pressure is so weak for some reason despite us having a storing tank for water instead of having the water flow straight from the main pipes. In turn, when the water is weak, the heater wouldn't turn on or you can't take the shower head off from its holder or else it would go weaker.

  2. We use instant water heaters at home as it is more cost efficient then a tank water heater. Hot water is instant and not wasted.

  3. Tankless water heaters are still quite expensive where I live. We do plan to include one in our bathroom remodel in a few years. The kids can take cold showers -- but we can't. LOL

  4. When our water heater dies completely, we are going to install a tankless water heater system in our house. The price has decreased on the tankless water heater, making them more affordable.
