7.Mate tea
Also known as the coffee lovers' favorite tea. It is made of the twigs and leaves of the yerba mate plant. Mate
tea can give you the same energy as coffee, minus the jitters. It can also curb your appetite, as it contains 21
minerals and vitamins.

YAY for ROOIBOS! Pronounced (ROY BOSS). I am an expert as I am from South Africa! This is a great caffeine free tea that we were given as young children. Great as is, or with sugar and milk or just honey. SO many ways to enjoy it!

When we were in China, our host insisted that Oolong tea is the reason the Chinese stay thin. He also insisted that Americans drink too much coffee and cannot appreciate tea. :(

I have never been much of an herbal tea drinker. I don't know enough about them, so I enjoyed your post about the different kinds. The Rooibos sounds interesting. I'll have to see if our grocery store carries it. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThese are great to know. We usually have green tea at home. I have yet to try chamomile tea. i heard it will really help you sleep. For weight loss, I usually drink senna leaves tea.
