This dish is pretty easy to cook, actually. The recipe isn't even a secret because all you need is a pack of McCormick Korean Fried Chicken Recipe Mix, which can easily be bought at groceries and supermarkets. They sell somewhere around Php 39, if I'm not mistaken.
KPop Chicken! |
The first time I came across this product was when I attended the 2PM Press Conference at The Manila Hotel. McCormick was one of the event sponsors, and their fried chicken dishes were among those served at the buffet table.
McCormick's Korean Fried Chicken Recipe Mix comes in four variants - Spicy, Kimchi, Bulgogi, and Soy Garlic, which is the one I used for that dish. Each variant has two packs inside it - Pack 1, which contains the batter mix, and Pack 2 which contains the flavored sauce. Oh, and the instructions are illustrated on the pack, too.
Easy as 1,2,3,4! |

I love Soy Garlic Chicken ever since I tried it in Bonchon but I'm sure the home made mix like you did is a lot better.

ReplyDeleteThis product makes cooking yummy fried chicken easy. :D
ReplyDeleteSoy garlic chicken is the best! I prefer that over the usual fried chicken. Maybe it's my Chinese roots (known to add soy sauce at practically every recipe) and my love for garlic that's why I prefer this :)
