This dish is pretty easy to cook, actually. The recipe isn't even a secret because all you need is a pack of McCormick Korean Fried Chicken Recipe Mix, which can easily be bought at groceries and supermarkets. They sell somewhere around Php 39, if I'm not mistaken.

The first time I came across this product was when I attended the 2PM Press Conference at The Manila Hotel. McCormick was one of the event sponsors, and their fried chicken dishes were among those served at the buffet table.
McCormick's Korean Fried Chicken Recipe Mix comes in four variants - Spicy, Kimchi, Bulgogi, and Soy Garlic, which is the one I used for that dish. Each variant has two packs inside it - Pack 1, which contains the batter mix, and Pack 2 which contains the flavored sauce. Oh, and the instructions are illustrated on the pack, too.

I love Soy Garlic Chicken ever since I tried it in Bonchon but I'm sure the home made mix like you did is a lot better.

This product makes cooking yummy fried chicken easy. :D
Soy garlic chicken is the best! I prefer that over the usual fried chicken. Maybe it's my Chinese roots (known to add soy sauce at practically every recipe) and my love for garlic that's why I prefer this :)
i tried this na!! i cooked this for the fam and pao and super nasarapan sila! parang bonchon lang daw :D haha

Haven't tried McCormick's Korean fried chicken recipe mix yet, but I've read about it on most food blogs already. Will look for this on my next trip to the supermarket. Gusto ko din gumawa ng home-made Korean soy-garlic fried chicken! :D
i haven't tried eating at BonChon yet, since whenever we go to our usual mall haunt we always seem to overlook that restaurant! lol. nasa labas kasi! would love to try out this premix...thanks for the heads-up!

Sounds and looks good to me! I haven't seen this but maybe the new LARGE Korean supermarket that opened recently has it.

This looks so easy and tasty! I need to try it! :)
I have used several different McCormick's seasonings before but I haven't seen the Korean flavors yet. Can't wait to try the soy garlic!
I love the verity of McCormicks seasonings--I'm going to be on the look out for this one! We eat chicken every other day so mixing up the flavor is always fun.
This looks absolutely delicious (even though I'm now vegetarian). I will have to try the seasoning pack with fried tofu. Just might taste good... :)
My mouth watered a little! OH I want to try this out!
This looks heavenly, I just ate and I am hungry again after looking at these chicken wings. Thank you for sharing.
