From what I remember of Poe from school, I really don't want to read any more of his works. i don't do creepy well.
Not sure what I am reading right now. Started a couple, need to sit down and actually read them. One is called The Apothecary's Daughter.
Happy New Year to you :-)
I have heard about the book that you are reading but haven't read it yet. Recently read a book on natural cleaners and will be reading the Gratitude table.
I have been reading a little bit of everything lately but mostly school stuff for my kiddo. We homeschool and our starting our second semester. Can't wait to just read for fun again. :)
I haven't read any Poe since my college days!! Lately I haven't read anything but when I do it usually a book series.
That would be a fun read! It's been awhile since I read some of his work. I love the cover on that edition!
Right now I'm reading a book called Raising Cain. It's a book about raising boys. I may need it. I grew up with all sisters. Now all we can have is boys. :)

I love Poe! I haven't had much time to read lately, but I'd like to start going through my bookshelves, reading one by one. It's been a while since I've read most of the books I own.
I've just started an Ed McBain novel-Mary Mary...I't been a little while that I've read more then a kids book--Police/Detective always a great read to get my mind going =)
I still remember Edgar Allan Poe's "Annabel Lee." World Literature is a subject I really enjoyed in high school. I also recently bought two inspirational books from LSGH bookstore (Embracing Change and Praying Our Goodbyes), and these are the books I read when I have time. -- Maria Teresa Figuerres
I never was a fan of Poe, but then I don't like anything creepy & scary. Right now I am reading & loving Life Code from Dr.Phil :)
woow..these are nice books sis! Nakuuu.. if only I read books.. hindi kase ako masyadong mahilig magbasa :(
The only thing I remember with Poe is a peom but I forgot the title. Currently, been reading inspirational quotes that I got from my baul. hehehe!

I love Poe! Although his work can be a bit...blue...it is still amazing! It's been quite awhile since I have read any poetry, but Poe has always been one of my favorites! Lately I have been reading fiction books by authors like James Patterson, Nora Roberts, and Patricia Cornwell.
