Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

Found your post on G+ today!
Enjoy your day!
Reading was one of my most favorite past times as a kid. :)
I wish my kids were better readers.. but i am not so i guess they are seeing what i do not do..
It is great to see little ones reading, one of the best things we can do for them is to encourage good reading habits.
I love that you share snapshots of everyday life. I feel like I know you even though we live on opposite sides of the world. Good job inspiring a love of reading, too!
My son is into Magic Treehouse and now freely reads ( not just at bedtime) I live it http://www.parentinghealthy.com
My son loves to read and I am amazed of this as we never really read to him when he is younger.
Lovely photo.
Reading is so important. We always read to ours and then have them read/
Reading is such an important skill for children to have. I think it's a great idea to teach them to love books at an early age.
I totally agree with that quote! My daughter doesn’t like to read books, but give her a newspaper and she’s a happy camper! Not a book... but at least she’s reading.
Way to go! :)
Our little ones are still to young to be able to read themselves. My husband and I will do the reading and they seem to enjoy. I hope as they get older they will continue to enjoy as they learn to read themselves.
I believe when parents read to the lil ones it inspires the children to read when they are older. It is so important for children to read for their minds to grow. Thanks for sharing.
I'm a huge advocate of reading and read a lot as a child. It does hep us expand our minds and hearts.
